Agreement
By playing WoWtorn you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct. If you do not obey the code we have
all rights to ban you from this server.
Our Staff
Our service is free and all our staff work endlessly to help provide you with the best enjoyment. Our staff are not payed and donate
their time to support of the server. We do not tolerate disrespect to our staff in any way. Respect the work they do and please
remember they are not obliged to help you because they are online they will service your ticket when they are ready to. Our development crew
also works very hard behind the scences, please bare that in mind when they are online.
Our Service
WoWtorn is a free emulated server and is not related to any official applications. Elements of the game cannot be compared to any payed
developed service. If you come across any non-working elements of the game such as Spells or Talents,
generally ignore them as a work in progress. We strive on good uptime and will implement spell, and quest fixes
when we can trust the stability of these functions. Do not complain about such developments, it does not help.
Player Rules
Chat
Our server is rated PG for all users. Please keep the general public channels to English.
- No flaming or spamming.
- No swearing, ludeness or sexual content in public chat channels.
- No harrassment, discrimination, public chat fighting.
- No constant begging. (Classed as spamming)
- No messages to Gamemasters. Make a ticket!
- No asking Gamemasters for gold, items, levels or teleports.
- For new player, simple problems. Check the help topics, or kindly ask another player.
- Always ask the public for help first.
- If you need staff assistance please open a TICKET in the HELP function. (Wait 15mins at least, for your ticket to be looked at)
General Play
The playing rules are simple, play fair. Serious exploits are bannable offenses.
- No hacking.
- No exploiting serious bugs. Report all exploitable items, spells or problems on the Bug tracker!
- Player harrassment, duel and trade spamming and new character bullying is not permitted.
Staff Rules
General Staff Rules
Staff need to be responsible, professional and must set an example for player behavior.
- No GameMaster items, spells, or abilites are to be used in Instances running, or dueling.
- No over scaling, mind-controlling, joking around with other players
- Staff that play must not use their power to get an advantage in the game
- Staff must regularly attend to tickets and communicate with other Staff
- Never give out items, spells and/or levels to other players and friends
- Never take players to GM Island or off limits maps
- Never add items to vendors without permission
- Never create your own items without permission
Store, and Events
Store rewards are handled mostly by an automated system. If you have an issue with an item, create a topic, in the help section of the forums.
General event rules include:
- Events should be kept controlled by more than 1 staff member.
- Events include: Races, Hide and Seek, Item Seekers, Arena Teams, Tournaments.
- First place reward is one epic, no greater then level 213 for first place for most GM held events.
